What is personal data and processing of personal data?

1. Who is responsible for your personal data?

Karlssons is the data controller for the data provided directly by an individual to us, or for data that we obtain from both private and public registers. In some contexts, Karlsson may act as a data processor. In these cases, a data processor agreement is established to regulate how your personal data is processed by Karlsson's. 2. Legal basis and legitimate interests for processing personal data

Karlsson's always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation. We process your personal data when it is necessary to fulfill an agreement with you, respond to a request from you or when we have another legitimate and legitimate interest in processing your personal data, e.g. an interest in sending information to our contacts or an interest in developing our digital channels. The collection described herein takes place, for example, when you enter your personal data in various forms in our digital channels or its services, when you visit or communicate with Karlssons Textbyrå and others via Karlssons Textbyrå's platforms, via platforms used by Karlssons Textbyrå, and in social media, submit comments in our contact forms or via email, telephone or similar means of communication, download reports from Karlssons Textbyrå's websites or sign up for newsletters or events that Karlssons Textbyrå organizes or recommends.

When you contact us via forms in our digital channels, for example when you have a question, your contact details and case information will be processed by us.

If you visit or communicate with us via our social media accounts (i.e. third party platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn), Karlssons Textbyrå may receive information regarding your profile and your interactions on the third party platform from the provider of the same.

4. Why and how long do we process your personal data?

At Karlssons Textbyrå we process personal data for visitors and customers of Karlssons Textbyrå who use our services. We process personal data about you primarily to administer and carry out assignments, for accounting and invoicing purposes and to administer the sending of offers and information to you. In detail, we use your personal data:

- To enable us to administer our contract with you and provide the products and services we have agreed to;
- To enable us to communicate with you when contacting you by phone, text and video communication, email, forms and in our social media accounts;
- To ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date;
- To administer marketing activities;
- For marketing purposes, including for marketing via post, social media, email and SMS/MMS (which you can opt out of via a link in each email or SMS/MMS mailing);
- To analyze and group visitors to our digital channels according to selection, prioritization and preferences, which means that a so-called profiling takes place, in order to provide you with relevant and customized information, surveys, recommendations, advertisements and offers. It is also possible that data derived from the use of various digital channels from Karlssons Textbyrå and from our partners are combined for this purpose, as well as for the purpose of developing products and services;
- To process payments and/or disbursements or prevent or detect fraud;
- To produce statistics on the use of our digital channels and its services; and
- To maintain, develop, test and improve both our products and services, as well as our digital channels and the technical platforms on which they are provided.

The personal data will be processed by us only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing or to fulfill Karlssons Textbyrås legal obligations.

If you have not been in contact with us within a period of 36 months, your data will be deleted, unless it is required to comply with other legal obligations.

4, a. Processing of personal data of children and young people‍
A child is a person under the age of 14 and a young person is a person between the ages of 14 and 17.

Karlssons Textbyrå's communication, products, services and digital channels are not aimed at children or young people and Karlssons Textbyrå therefore does not knowingly collect personal data about them. If you are a guardian and become aware that your child or young person has provided personal data to Karlssons Textbyrå, we ask you to contact us at the addresses listed in section 1 so that you can exercise your rights regarding, for example, correction or deletion.

4, b. External links
This privacy policy applies to information about you that Karlssons Textbyrå processes. Karlssons Textbyrå's digital channels may sometimes contain links to external websites or services that we do not control. If you follow a link to an external website, you are encouraged to read the principles for personal data processing and information about cookies that apply to the page in question.

5. Your rights

Ifyou wish to exercise any of the following rights, please contact us by email (hej@karlssonstext.se) or by post at the address given in point 1.

Right to information: you can, at any time, find out what information, if any, we hold about you in our register and how we process it. We will respond to your requests without undue delay and within one month. If for any reason we are unable to comply with your request, a justification must be provided.

Right to rectification: You have the right to request rectification of the personal data we process about you. Karlssons Textbyrå will, at your request or when Karlssons Textbyrå discovers it, correct or delete inaccurate or incomplete information.

Right to erasure/be forgotten: You may at any time request that we cease processing your personal data and delete the data we have about you. If you have signed up for newsletters, subscriptions or notification of other updates and do not wish to receive further communication, you can also unsubscribe via the link in the mailing.

Data portability: you have the right to obtain the data you have provided in order to transfer it to another service.

Objection to processing: you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the applicable supervisory authority at any time if you believe that your personal data is being processed in breach of applicable personal data legislation.

Karlssons Textbyrå is not responsible for problems arising as a result of personal data being old or incorrect if you have failed to inform us of the change.

6. Who do we share your data with?

Karlssons Textbyrå may engage external partners (suppliers) to perform tasks on behalf of Karlssons Textbyrå, e.g. to provide IT services, payment solutions, accounting or to assist with marketing, analysis or statistics. The performance of these services may mean that Karlssons Textbyrå's partners, both within the EU/EEA and outside the EU/EEA, have access to your personal data.

Companies that handle personal data on behalf of Karlssons Textbyrå always sign agreements with Karlssons Textbyrå to ensure a high level of protection for your personal data also with our partners. In relation to partners outside the EU/EEA, special protection measures are taken, such as agreements that include standardized model clauses for data transfer that have been adopted by the European Commission and are available on the European Commission's website.
